Snowmobilers From Hell

SnowmobileRiders is a group of guys based out of Southeastern Wisconsin. Our group has multiple identities including "F-BoB" and "Snowmobilers From Hell Cheese Heads".

Snowmobilers From Hell is a North Bay Canada-based snowmobile group. They hold an annual "Hell Ride" that is by invitation only and is limited to 138 sleds...and sledders. The Hell Ride is mid-February each year. The trip ranges from 900 miles to 1200 depending on the routes taken from hotel/city to hotel/city. The route starts in North Bay Ontario. Day one is a 200+ mile trip to Rouyn-Noranda Quebec. Day two continues north to V'dor. Day three is a "loop day" where you can choose from small to large excursions depending on how your body holds up. Day four takes you back to Rouyn and day five gets you back to North Bay.

The trip allows total freedom--even though you're in a group of 138 sleds, you go with your own sub-group at your own pace. The trip includes a couple of cell-phone equipped runners with 4 place trailers for emergency assistance, all your hotels, a box van for your luggage and the supplied oil and a fully stocked, all-you-can-drink hospitality room every night of the trip. It's a great trip... Too bad YOU'RE NOT INVITED!

The Canadians have really taken us in over the last four years. We enjoy their accents, their high level of bullshitting AND they enjoy watching us freak out over all the snow and the unbelievable trails.
